Retail & E-Commerce
21 retail outlets and a growing e-commerce presence, joined into one omnichannel system — paid media, a WhatsApp funnel and in-store campaigns pulling in the same direction.
Bookworld Limited operates 21 retail outlets alongside a growing e-commerce presence across Lusaka, Kitwe, Copperbelt, Chipata, Southern Province, and beyond — making it Zambia’s most geographically distributed book and stationery brand.
The problem
Despite strong in-store brand equity, Bookworld’s digital presence lacked structure, measurable retention systems, and integration between online campaigns and physical footfall.
Our Approach
Performance-led paid campaigns across social platforms, with geo-targeting for each regional outlet.
Structured WhatsApp lead gen, customer communities, and promotional redemption funnel to drive activity.
Seasonal and weekly promotional campaigns tied to in-store traffic objectives and catalogue distribution.
Original video and promotional campaign assets produced over 12 months, with weekly optimisation cycles.
Built a proprietary customer database to enable retargeting, engagement and reliance on other audiences.
In-store branding and promotional support to close the loop between digital campaigns and physical retail footfall.

How one integrated campaign put Monarch Regal on ShopRite shelves.
Client Overview
Monarch Regal Whisky had something to say. The product was there. The ambition was there. But in a market where whisky loyalties run deep and shelf space is fought for, having a good product is only the starting point. Monarch Regal needed Lusaka drinkers to know the brand, try it, and ask for it by name — and it needed retailers to see the demand before they’d commit to stocking it.
The Challenge
The whisky category in Lusaka doesn’t move on impressions alone. It moves on trust — the kind built in bars, at celebrations, through word of mouth, through experiences people actually remember. Monarch Regal had never had the kind of launch that generates that trust at scale.
Awareness was low. Trial was lower. Without visible consumer demand, retailers had no reason to prioritise shelf space for a new name. And running channels separately — a post here, a radio spot there — was never going to be enough to break through.
The brief was clear: create a campaign that makes Lusaka drinkers know, try and ask for Monarch Regal — and gives retailers a reason to stock it.
Our Approach
We built ‘Celebrations with Monarch Regal’ — not as a tagline, but as a campaign platform. A single idea that every channel could execute from. Traditional media, roadshows, a live music festival, digital amplification, and trade engagement didn’t run as separate workstreams. They ran as one thing, all at once, all saying the same thing.
Traditional media — radio spots and outdoor hoardings across Lusaka — carrying the same ‘Celebrations with Monarch Regal’ message, so the brand felt present before people even encountered it on the ground.
Took the brand directly into the spaces where whisky decisions get made — bars, retail outlets and high-traffic areas across Lusaka — creating face-to-face moments that no media placement can replicate.
A compound-level music festival hosted in local bars and restaurants, with Roberto as the headline artist. The kind of experience that gives people a genuine memory attached to the brand — not just an impression.
Every on-ground moment was captured and pushed through paid and organic digital. The roadshow became content. The festival became reach. Digital didn’t run separately — it multiplied everything else.
As consumer visibility and engagement grew, trade conversations became easier. The campaign built the kind of on-ground proof that gave retailers — including ShopRite — a reason to take Monarch Regal seriously.
‘Celebrations with Monarch Regal’ was the thread that held it all together. Every channel — traditional, experiential, digital, trade — ran off the same brief, the same message, the same moment.
The Execution
Integration is easy to plan and hard to execute. Here’s what actually happened on the ground:

Business Impact
Monarch Regal didn’t just run a campaign. It ran a movement — and the market responded. The brand went from unknown to on-the-ground familiar, from unproven to ShopRite-ready. More than 20,000 people engaged with it directly. The trade took notice. And ‘Celebrations with Monarch Regal’ proved that when every channel runs off the same story, the whole is far greater than the sum of its parts.

Compound by compound — how roadshows lifted Star Gold Aura Oil’s general trade by 10%.
Client Overview
In Lusaka, cooking oil isn’t primarily bought in supermarkets. It’s bought in the compounds — from the small general-trade shops that sit at the heart of every community, stocking the essentials families reach for every day. That’s where Star Gold Aura Oil needed to be. Not just on the shelf, but known, trusted, and chosen.
The challenge wasn’t distribution. It was presence, familiarity, and preference — the things that only happen when a brand actually shows up where its customers live.
The Challenge
General trade runs on relationships. The shopkeeper stocks what customers ask for. Customers ask for what they know. Awareness built at the brand level rarely makes it down to the compound shop — not without something more direct than advertising.
Star Gold Aura Oil needed to break into that system: to become the brand the shopkeeper stocked by default and the household bought by habit. That required going into the compounds, not waiting for the compounds to come to the brand.
The brief was clear: take Star Gold Aura Oil into every compound, create genuine awareness and trial at community level, drive household sales on the spot, and leave behind a trading relationship that carried on after the roadshow moved on.
Our Approach
We built the activation around the way buying decisions actually work in the compounds: community energy, visible presence, and the combination of live demonstration and immediate availability. Each roadshow was designed not just to be seen, but to sell — and to leave behind a market that kept selling after it left.
Took the activation into the compounds themselves — setting up in the heart of each community to create brand presence where purchasing decisions are actually made. Not near the compounds. Inside them.
Each compound activation began with an awareness drive — making sure residents knew Star Gold Aura Oil was there, what it was, and why it was different. Word travels fast in a compound; the awareness drive made sure it travelled the right way.
Ran live cooking demonstrations at each roadshow to let people see and taste the product in action. In a category where quality is judged by smell, colour, and how food turns out, a live demo is worth more than any claim on a label.
Sold directly to households at the roadshow — turning awareness and appetite into immediate purchase. Every compound activation converted interest on the day, not eventually, not after another trip to the shop.
Worked with local general-trade shops in each compound to ensure Star Gold Aura Oil was available on the shelf after the roadshow left. The activation created demand; the trade seeding made sure that demand had somewhere to go.
Maintained trading activity in covered compounds after each roadshow concluded — building on the relationships, awareness, and shopper familiarity created at the activation to sustain momentum and drive ongoing general-trade volume.
The Execution
This was a systematic, ground-level market-building operation across Lusaka’s compounds. Here’s how it ran:

Note: The total number of compounds covered should be added to confirm full campaign reach. The figure is a placeholder pending final confirmation.
Business Impact
A 10% increase in general trade doesn’t happen from a poster or a social post. It happens when a brand shows up in the places where people actually buy — in the compounds, at the shops, face to face. Star Gold Aura Oil went compound by compound through Lusaka: roadshows, demos, door-to-door sales, and shelves stocked before the trucks pulled out. The result wasn’t just a number. It was a brand that Lusaka’s compounds now know, buy, and cook with.

Changing what Lusaka pours — a door-to-door behaviour-change campaign for plant-based milk.
Client Overview
260 Brands had two products — Nutra Milk and Thobwa — that could genuinely change the way Lusaka households consume dairy. The products were good. The proposition was real. But plant-based milk isn’t just a new brand to try. It’s a different product category. Switching requires understanding, trial, and a reason to change a routine that most families have never questioned.
That’s a fundamentally different challenge from awareness. And it demanded a fundamentally different approach.
The Challenge
Dairy milk is one of the most deeply ingrained household habits in any market. It’s what families grew up with. It’s what their parents bought. It’s the default. To change that default, you need more than visibility — you need a moment of genuine persuasion, at close range, with no distraction and no exit.
A billboard doesn’t create that moment. A social post doesn’t create it. Even a well-placed retail display doesn’t create it. The only thing that creates that moment is a real human being, standing at someone’s front door, with the product in hand and a story to tell.
The brief was as direct as the strategy: take the product to every household in Lusaka, let families taste it, explain why it matters, and sell it on the spot. No shortcuts. Every door.
Our Approach
We built the activation around one non-negotiable principle: every household gets a visit. Not a sample of the city. Not the high-income areas. Every compound, every estate, every neighbourhood — the whole of Lusaka, covered systematically, with trained teams who didn’t just knock and leave a flyer but stayed, talked, demonstrated, and sold.
Mapped and systematically covered every residential area across Lusaka — compounds, estates, and neighbourhoods — so no part of the city was left out. This wasn’t sampling. This was a city-wide behaviour change operation.
Deployed trained on-ground teams to go house by house across Lusaka. Each visit was a conversation, not a pitch — teams explained the product, answered questions, and met families on their own terms, in their own homes.
Gave families the opportunity to try Nutra Milk and Thobwa before being asked to buy. Taste is the most powerful argument in any FMCG category — and for a habit change, experiencing the product is the only thing that actually works.
At every door, teams didn’t just sell — they educated. Explaining the benefits of plant-based milk, addressing common objections, and helping families understand why making the switch made sense for them specifically.
Removed all friction between interest and purchase. Once a family tasted and understood the product, teams closed the sale immediately — no trip to a store required, no second decision needed.
Tracked coverage systematically to ensure every household was accounted for and no area was revisited unnecessarily — giving 260 Brands a real picture of reach, not an estimate.
The Execution
This was one of the largest on-ground consumer activations ever run in Lusaka. Here’s what the execution looked like:

Results
Note: The direct sales figure for Nutra Milk and Thobwa can be added once confirmed. The final headcount figure (400,000–500,000) should be updated to reflect the verified number.
Business Impact
260 Brands didn’t run a campaign. They ran a city-wide conversation. Over 300,000 households across all of Lusaka were reached in person — not through an ad, not through a post, but at the front door. Families tasted the product, heard the story, and made the switch on the spot. That’s what behaviour change actually looks like. Not impressions. Not reach. A family in Lusaka pouring Nutra Milk instead of dairy — because someone showed up and made the case in person.

From 10,000 to 125,000 followers — and a call centre that turns conversations into customers.
Client Overview
Indo-Zambia Bank is one of Zambia’s established financial institutions — a bank with real customers, real products, and a genuine presence in the market. But its digital footprint didn’t reflect its scale. A social following of 10,000 was too small to carry the bank’s voice. Customer queries were landing on social channels with no structured way to handle them. And the interest being generated wasn’t being converted into accounts.
The ask was to fix all of it: grow the audience, professionalize the social presence, and build a system that turned digital engagement into real banking customers.
The Challenge
For a bank, every social interaction carries weight. A query left unanswered is a trust problem. A complaint handled badly is a reputation risk. An interested prospect who doesn’t hear back is a customer who goes somewhere else. The challenge wasn’t just to grow the following — it was to build the infrastructure to handle what that growth brings.
IZB needed a social presence that could scale, a customer service operation that could keep pace, and a lead-management process that could close the gap between interest and account opening.
Our Approach
We treated social media and the call centre not as separate workstreams but as one connected customer journey. Social built the audience and generated the conversations. The call centre gave those conversations a professional, human resolution. Together, they created a pipeline from follower to account holder.
Took full ownership of IZB’s social media presence across platforms — strategy, content creation, publishing, and community management. Every post, every reply, and every campaign was managed as a coherent, always-on expression of the bank’s voice.
Built a content and engagement strategy designed to grow the bank’s audience systematically — reaching the right people, creating content that earned attention, and building a following that actually reflected the bank’s customer base and ambitions.
Managed day-to-day community interaction — responding to comments, handling questions, and keeping the bank’s social channels a place where customers felt heard. In banking, responsiveness is trust. We made sure every interaction reinforced it.
Set up and ran a dedicated call centre to handle the volume of customer contact flowing from social media — complaints, questions, and account enquiries. This gave every inbound lead and concern a structured, professional response rather than a silence or a missed message.
Built a complaints management process capable of handling thousands of cases — routing, tracking, and resolving customer issues with the consistency and speed a bank’s reputation requires. Approximately 10,000 complaints were resolved through the system.
Identified and nurtured leads from social engagement and inbound call-centre contact — qualifying interest, following up, and guiding prospects through to account opening. Generated approximately 4,000 leads, with a 10% conversion rate producing around 400 new customers.
The Execution
This was a full-service digital and customer-service operation, running continuously across social and voice channels. Here’s what the execution involved:

Business Impact
Growing a bank’s social following from 10,000 to 125,000 is one thing. But the number that matters most is the 400 people who opened accounts. They didn’t come from an ad campaign. They came from a system — social content that built trust, a call centre that answered when they got in touch, and a lead process that kept the conversation going until it became a conversion. That’s what digital presence means for a bank: not just followers, but customers.
